ÊKHÔ (2023- )

That which reproduces or recalls something, a trace, a mark.

In this project, Julie Calbert explores the relationship between memory and landscape through an installation combining photography and sculpture. Using ancient photographic processes and sculpting clay, she immerses herself in an investigation of alterity, where the processes involved in constructing an image enter into dialogue with the strata that make up the layers of memory. The landscape is transformed into a body, where sculpted elements interact with images.
